I will not say anything about the plot of this series, because I feel it is best for the reader to wonder and discover on her/his own. The character development is excellent, and the descriptions are marvelous. You will be hooked immediately and keep wondering to see what will happen next. You will form opinions of the characters only to be surprised when they don't conform to your ideas. The ending is satisfying, but leaves room for future books if the author chooses to write more. I read all three books. They were interesting, but the "end" was extraordinarily dragged out and I found it to be unsatisfactory in its symbolism and in its supposed ideals. Maybe I saw more than was intended, but I now wish I had just put it down halfway through this last book.
I read the series but only because it was free and early on in the first book of the series I got sucked in. But all the characters and storylines set up early in the first book? Most were dropped with no real follow through so what started out as potentially interesting became a hot jumbled mess.
This third book was by far the worst of the series, violent ugly and utterly hopeless with no clear resolution. Such a disappointment.
It's a drawn out series, that leaves questions with no real answers. Kinda boring. Took forever to answer just a few questions.

This trilogy was so intriguing and spectacular and bizarre and completely enthralling I want more of their adventures. The mind that created this battle is truly outstanding or somewhere in space. Thank you for the ride!
This was a great series. I will never be able to hear that children's song without thinking about this series. Outstanding!
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and series. The characters are intriguing and the plot original and fresh. It can be difficult to find an author who can create something unlike what previously exists, and Malpass does exactly that. The ending allows for a 4th book to continue the story.
