I bought Michael's 1st book "Who I Be" for my 2 grandchildren. I will do the same for this book. Keep them coming-Great Job!!
This is a great book to teach kids to be more conscious of consuming products! I will be sharing this story at the children's gardening classes I teach )
My kids and their parents both love this book for it's easy to understand and poignant message. Coming from Michael Franti you couldn't expect anything less.
We purchased several books for Christmas and this is her very favorite but she is already a fan of Michael Franti and Spearhead music. Her face lit up when she recognized Sound of Sunshine in the background. I was thrilled to hear her explain to another child that "away is just somewhere else" so I am confident the message has already reached her!
This man is brilliant on all levels!
We love both of Michael Franti's books. We bought this one 2nd and it has a great message. My son loves the artwork, and it is great that they come with the music. We have even given this book at a couple of birthday parties, and everybody loves it. A must have for any Franti fan and their children.
